A Date with Death

A Date with Death: The Secret Life of the Accused “Craigslist Killer” by Michele McPhee. Basically the genre of the book is true crime. This book has 282 pages. Michele published the book on May 25, 2010. The book that I read was very interesting, it’s basically about this main character Philip and how he gets accused of killing women and stealing from them and being arrested because of it. And in my opinion, the story was somewhat predictable but since the story was really great, you would not really mind the predictions that turns out right. Also, If I were to change one thing in the story, that would be when one of the characters got busted but instead of stopping what he’s doing and turning himself in, he continues with pursuing the wrong decisions which affects his relationship with everyone and even his school. Things could’ve ended well if he chose the right thing.
One thing that I liked about this book is when one of the characters, Megan did not give up even though many people are angry with her because of her relationship with one of the Philip. The two met in a med school and that was when they became closer and that was when their story started. The only thing that I do not like about this book was that he did not stop killing people even though the news said that the police started the investigation about women’s dying but at the same time this makes the book interesting and it kept the readers going.
