“True worship in the demonstrations of the spirit” B.R. Hicks

The book I read this semester is called “True worship in the demonstrations of the spirit” by B.R. Hicks. This is a short book of 113 pages but I can say she’s a detailed writer, B.R. Hicks is so informative and passionate about the truth she shares. This is a Christian book that goes into depth about what the real biblical textual evidence says about the demonstrations of the Holy Spirit. She mentions how in prayer when lifting your heart can also be shown as lifting your hands which is a demonstration of internal/ external surrender to God. She numbers the many demonstrations of the spirit in Roman numerals. She also includes dancing in the spirit, leaping in the spirit, weeping, shaking and others as well. This book really showed me exactly what it is titled and goes into details where in the Bible are the verses that show where these demonstrations have came up many times.
