Murder on a lonely road
by George Pawlaczyk and Beth Hundsdorfer
Jackie Jones, a popular teen beauty queen from rural Missouri, was raped and beaten in the middle of the night.Everyone knew that the local rich kid playboy type was guilty but there was no proof. Murder on a Lonely Road describes the 25 year law enforcement to gather evidence to prove what everyone knew.As the missing young women plie up, the case grows colder. Are the police on the right track, or have they missed the real murderer by focusing all of their attention on the most obvious suspect?
Beth and George are experienced reporters, familiar to people in southern Illinois for their wonderful reporting on criminal justice issues. The police were on the right track and did not find out who actually took the girls and killed them so no one was left behind.
could of been way better with much less details. story would jump around into different years. they finally got their man, but could not get him on all the women they think he killed. you would think the police had enough on gerry carnahan, to get him ,it seems to me gerry just has way too much money to get off from the murder charges. hopefully at some point he will be charged, he should be.
