Eleven year old Bronia risked her life to keep her family alive and healthy during the war. She smuggled goods to trade for food.Then Bronia and her sisters were deported to Auschwitz II - Birkenau concentration camp and with courage and the help of strangers Bronia became one of the youngest survivors. The main problem is that Bronia Mila and two younger sisters are sent to a concentration camp. On the day they arrived Bronia and her two younger sisters were sent to the left which means they were going to be murdered in gas chambers. Bronia decides to take the risk and she moves to the right with her older sister Mila which means she gets to live she then realizes that she had sent her younger sisters to die alone will she ever see anyone from her family again.
